The City of Riverside has a long-standing partnership with Riverside County Department of Animal Services. Together, we work to connect the community with a wide variety of dogs, cats, and occasionally other animals who are looking for loving homes.
You are welcome to visit during adoption hours to meet the animals in person and find the perfect match for your family. Let's help give these animals a second chance at a happy home.

Pet Licensing
Pet licensing is a legal requirement for dog owners. Licensing helps ensure pets are up to date on rabies vaccinations and can be quickly returned to their owners if lost. Please bring proof of your pet's current rabies vaccination when applying for or renewing a license.

The City of Riverside has contracted Animal Control Officers to respond to calls for service within the City limits. Please call 311 to report.
