Continuing the Legacy

Solid Waste Rate Plan 2023/24 – 2027/28

On September 19, 2023, the Riverside City Council approved a five-year rate plan for Riverside Public Utilities electric rate increase. New solid waste rates go into effect on November 1, 2023. These rates provide for a gradual increase in rates through fiscal year 2027/28.

97.69 Million pounds of green wasted diverted from landfills (up 8% from 2021)
