Welcome to the Community Services Bureau (CSB) of the Riverside Police Department, dedicated to serving as a vital resource for our residents. Our mission is clear: to empower our community through educational initiatives focused on criminal awareness and crime prevention. We believe that by providing essential information and resources, we can enhance neighborhood safety and foster stronger, more resilient communities.
We are committed to building trust and strengthening relationships within our community. In collaboration with the Riverside Police Foundation, we work hand in hand with faith-based organizations, local community groups, and businesses to establish meaningful partnerships that promote the safety and well-being of all.
One of our primary responsibilities is the development and implementation of the department’s youth and community-based programs, including the Citizen's/Teen Academy, Riverside Police Explorer 714 Program, Neighborhood and Business Watch, Opportunity With Education (OWE), Teen 2 Teen, the Volunteer Program, You Are Not Alone (YANA), and Youth Court. Through these initiatives, we aim to instill important leadership skills, self-awareness, and a sense of responsibility in our youth. Our goal is to nurture law-abiding residents who care deeply for and respect their community and police department.
Together, let's create a safer, more connected Riverside. Explore our programs, resources, and educational materials, and join us in building a brighter and better Riverside.
