If you would like to register for National Night Out with the Riverside Police Department, please personally contact a PSR listed below as official registration is currently closed.
The Annual National Night Out (NNO) is a community-wide crime prevention program sponsored locally by the Riverside Police Department and our local businesses.
NNO is sponsored nationally by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), ADT, Target, Nextdoor.com, and Associa. NNO is an annual event held throughout the United States to promote cooperation between the police and the community.
NNO events are designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that Riverside neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Neighborhood social events are being held throughout the City from 6:00-9:00 P.M. Police personnel will be out in force and visiting events that are registered with the department. Fire and City personnel will also be participating in the activities.
How Can Your Neighborhood Participate?
You can participate by hosting a community event in your area. Community events can range from a local block party, an ice cream social, or a community clean up. Please check here soon for a list of National Night Out events.
How Will Your Neighborhood Benefit?
Your event will help strengthen neighborhood spirit, police-community partnerships, and will send a message to criminals that you have taken control of your neighborhood and they are being watched.
If your neighborhood group or business organization would like to be involved, please register your event. For additional information contact the Police Service Representative for your area.
