Where: Magnolia Center Neighborhood

  • Maintenance and repair work of existing electrical system infrastructure
  • Replacing electrical cables and related equipment alongside the thoroughfare and within the City right-of-way
  • New installations will enhance electrical system reliability in the area

Circuit 444 & 445 Pole Replacements

Where: Magnolia Center & Wood Streets Neighborhoods

  • Maintenance and repair work of existing electrical system infrastructure
  • Replacement of:
    • 170 utility poles
    • 46 transformers
    • 22,800 linear feet of conductor and related overhead distribution facilities
  • New installations will enhance electrical system reliability in the area

End: Fall 2023

Streetlight Replacement

Where: Downtown Neighborhood

  • Maintenance and repair work of existing electrical system infrastructure
  • Streetlight system will be upgraded to new streetlight standards
  • New installations will maintain the historical integrity of the existing 100-year-old system, utilize LED technology for energy efficiency, and improve street lighting levels in the area.

    • Installation of 9 Fire Hydrants
    • Trench Repaving
  • New installations will improve water system reliability in the area

    • Chicago Avenue & 7th Street (2 valves)

    • Trench Repaving
