Dog Parks


Doggie play date!

There are few things in life a dog loves more than running off-leash with his canine comrades. The PRCSD has two Bark Parks for your canine family member.  The off-leash parks offer dogs the opportunity to run, play and socialize with their canine friends. Water and doggy bags available.

Carlson Bark Park • 4700 Buena Vista Ave. (closed for maintenance on Fridays from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.)
Riverwalk Dog Park • Corner of Pierce St. and Riverwalk Pkwy.  

Dog Park Rules

  • Dogs must be leashed during entrance and exit.
  • Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated and wear a visible and current license.
  • Owners must maintain control of their dog.
  • Aggressive dog behavior is not permitted.  Remove dogs at first sign of aggression.
  • No dogs less than 3 months old.
  • Small dogs use at own risk.
  • No food inside dog park.
  • Be considerate! Pick up after your pet.

 


Refund Policy:

Refunds will not be granted unless class is cancelled. Credits will be issued for the amount of the course if the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is notified before the second class meeting. Exceptions – Special Events, Aquatics, Lifeguard Training, Day Camps, and After School programs, due to high demand and limited spacing, credits, transfers or refunds will not be issued.
Refunds will not be granted for Youth Sports programs, however credits will be issued if requested in writing two weeks prior to the first scheduled game.
Online registration transaction fees are non-refundable.
