Pool Pump Motor Rebate

This program offers Riverside Public Utilities electric customers, who have newly constructed or existing in-ground pools and spas the opportunity to receive rebates back on the purchase and installation of new, Energy Efficient Pool Pumps (EEPPs).

What is the Pool Pump rebate amount?
$200 per pump (maximum two pumps) when installing a qualifying multi-flow or variable-speed pool pumps with appropriate controllers (two speed pumps do not qualify) on new or existing in-ground pools or spas.

Which products qualify?
Complete the Energy-Efficient Pool/Spa Pump Rebate Application Form, attach copies of the dated sales receipt(s), along with the pump’s energy efficiency information from the manufacturer, and mail to:

Program Guidelines

This program is available to Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) residential electric customers for the purchase and installation of a qualifying multi-flow or variable speed pool pumps with appropriate controllers (two speed pumps do not qualify).
Customers must fulfill all program-specific and general RPU program guidelines to be eligible for incentives.
Application must be submitted within 90 days of receipt purchase date in order to qualify for rebate.
Rebates will be refunded to the customer’s residential electric account.
Qualified units must be installed and in operation at the customer’s service address before applying for a rebate. Once installed, mail your application along with copies of legible, dated sales receipt as proof of purchase to Riverside Public Utilities.
Installed units are subject to inspection for program compliance. Failure to comply may forfeit rebate.
Customer must sign liability agreement on application.
RPU reserves the right to determine product eligibility. Pumps that were purchased for resale, used pumps, leased or rented pumps, pumps won as prizes or given as gifts, will not qualify for rebate.
Program is subject to change without prior notification. Rebates are given on a first come, first served basis subject to fund availability.
